Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, with low to medium air pressures. Offers excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

A versatile bit face suitable for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations, providing outstanding hole deviation control and flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard conditions with low to medium air pressures. Offers resistance to steel wash, reducing gauge button wear, although with limited hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Perfect for hard to very hard, abrasive rock formations. Suitable for high air pressures, offering excellent penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
