Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations. Functions optimally with low to medium air pressures while providing maximum hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

An all-purpose bit face perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers excellent hole deviation control and enhanced flushing capacity for efficient drilling.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard conditions, with low to medium air pressures. This design is most resistant to steel wash, reducing wear on gauge buttons but may compromise hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Optimized for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations under high air pressures. Provides excellent penetration rates and robust resistance to steel wash, making it ideal for challenging applications.
