Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, operating efficiently under low to medium air pressures. It offers exceptional hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

Ideal for a wide range of scenarios, especially medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. It provides excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Engineered for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures. It is highly resistant to steel wash, reducing load and wear on gauge buttons, though with limited hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Perfect for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, particularly under high air pressures. This face shape ensures good penetration rates and outstanding resistance to steel wash.
