Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Perfect for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard, fissured rock formations, using low to medium air pressures with maximum control over hole deviation.

2. Concave Face

An all-around application bit face ideal for medium hard, homogeneous rock formations, offering good hole deviation control and excellent flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Engineered for high penetration in soft to medium-hard conditions under low to medium air pressures. It maximizes resistance to steel wash, reducing load and wear on gauge buttons but may offer less control over hole deviation.

4. Flat Face

Designed for performance in hard to very hard, abrasive rock formations, particularly under high air pressures. Offers excellent penetration rates and superior resistance to steel wash.
