Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Achieve high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Ideal for low to medium air pressures with excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

This versatile bit face is designed for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations, providing excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Maximize penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rocks at low to medium air pressures. Offers resistance to steel wash, potentially reducing load and wear on gauge buttons, though with lower hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Perfect for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations at high air pressures. Offers robust penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
