Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Optimized for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations. Suitable for low to medium air pressures, offering maximum hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

A versatile bit face ideal for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Provides excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock formations with low to medium air pressures. Offers resilience against steel wash and reduces load and wear on gauge buttons, though has poor hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Ideal for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations with high air pressures. Delivers good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
