Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, operating at low to medium air pressures. Ensures maximum hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

A versatile application bit face designed for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Perfect for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock under low to medium air pressures. Highly resistant to steel wash, potentially reducing load and wear on gauge buttons, but with less effective hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Designed for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, suitable for high air pressure applications. Delivers good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
