Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Select the Drop Center Bit for optimal penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. It operates efficiently at low to medium air pressures and provides excellent control over hole deviation.

2. Concave Face

The Concave Face is a versatile option, ideal for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations, offering good hole deviation control and robust flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Opt for the Convex Face for high penetration in soft to medium-hard rock with low to medium air pressures. It minimizes steel wash and reduces gauge button wear, though it has less control over hole deviation.
