Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Suitable for low to medium air pressures, the drop center bit provides maximum hole deviation control.
The concave face bit is designed for all-around applications in medium hard and homogeneous rock formations. It offers good hole deviation control and flushing capacity.
The convex face bit is perfect for soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures. It is resistant to steel wash and reduces load and wear on gauge buttons. However, it may have poor hole deviation control.
The flat face bit is suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations with high air pressures. It provides good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
