Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Excels under low to medium air pressures, providing excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

A versatile bit face suited for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers superb hole deviation control and efficient flushing capabilities.

3. Convex Face

Built for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard environments with low to medium air pressures. Superior resistance to steel wash and may reduce gauge button wear but offers less control over hole deviation.

4. Flat Face

Perfectly crafted for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, especially when high air pressures are required. Ensures excellent penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
