Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

The Drop Center Bit offers optimal penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, using low to medium air pressures while providing excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

This versatile bit face is perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations, ensuring effective hole deviation control and superior flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration in softer formations with low to medium air pressures, this face is most resistant to steel wash and reduces wear on gauge buttons, though it offers limited hole deviation control.
