Choosing the Right Bit Face Shape:
1. Drop Center Bit
Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard, fissured rock formations under low to medium air pressures. Ensures maximum control over hole deviation.
2. Concave Face
A versatile bit face designed specifically for medium-hard, homogeneous rock formations. Provides excellent hole deviation control and superior flushing capability.
3. Convex Face
Perfect for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rocks with low to medium air pressures. Notable for its resistance to steel wash and reduced load and wear on gauge buttons; however, it offers lesser control over hole deviation.
4. Flat Face
This face shape is tailored for hard to very hard, abrasive rock formations, performing exceptionally well under high air pressures. Delivers robust penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
Steel Composition:
Manufactured from first-class special alloy steel, renowned for its high strength, heat resistance, and wearability.
Carbide Composition:
We typically use superior tungsten carbides sourced from China.
European tungsten carbide options are also available upon request.
