Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations; operates well under low to medium air pressures with excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

The versatile choice for medium-hard, homogeneous rock formations, offering superb hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations under low to medium air pressures; highly resistant to steel wash, reducing gauge button load and wear, though with limited hole deviation control.
