Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Designed for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, with low to medium air pressures, offering maximum hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

An all-rounder bit face perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. It provides excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Created for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock with low to medium air pressures. Offers strong resistance to steel wash, potentially reducing gauge button wear, albeit with limited hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Ideal for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations when using high air pressures. Ensures good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
