Bit Face Shape Selection Guide:
1. Drop Center Bit
Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations. Suitable for low to medium air pressures and provides maximum control over hole deviation.
2. Concave Face
A versatile bit face perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers excellent hole deviation control and good flushing capacity.
3. Convex Face
Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures. Provides the best resistance to steel wash, reducing load and wear on gauge buttons, although it offers poor hole deviation control.
4. Flat Face
This face shape excels in hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, especially under high air pressures. Delivers good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
Superior Steel Quality:
Crafted from first-class special alloy steel known for high strength, heat resistance, and wearability.
Premium Carbide Options:
Commonly utilizes the finest tungsten carbides sourced from China.
Tungsten carbide of European origin is also available.
