Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for high penetration in soft to medium-hard and fissured rocks. It offers low to medium air pressures and excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

An all-around application bit face, perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rocks. It ensures good hole deviation control and excellent flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard materials with low to medium air pressures, offering resistance to steel wash and reducing load on gauge buttons, though with limited hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Perfect for hard to very hard and abrasive rocks with high air pressures, providing excellent penetration rates and strong resistance to steel wash.
