Bit Face Shape Selection:

• Drop Center Bit: Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations. Suitable for low to medium air pressures and provides maximum hole deviation control.


• Concave Face: An all-around application bit face specifically designed for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers good hole deviation control and flushing capacity.


• Convex Face: Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock formations with low to medium air pressures. Provides resistance to steel wash but may have poor hole deviation control.


• Flat Face: Suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations in applications with high air pressures. Offers good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
