3. Convex Face
Designed for high penetration in soft to medium-hard conditions with low to medium air pressures, it offers resistance to steel wash and reduces wear on gauge buttons, though with limited hole deviation control.
4. Flat Face
Best suited for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, this shape is ideal for high air pressure applications, ensuring robust penetration rates and steel wash resistance.
