Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Optimized for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations. Ideal for operations with low to medium air pressures, offering maximum control over hole deviation.

2. Concave Face

A versatile bit face, perfect for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Ensures excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations under low to medium air pressures. Provides the highest resistance to steel wash, reducing wear on gauge buttons, though it offers lesser control over hole deviation.

4. Flat Face

Ideal for hard to extremely hard and abrasive rock formations when high air pressures are required. Delivers robust penetration rates and excellent resistance to steel wash.
