Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard, fissured rock formations. Ideal for low to medium air pressures with maximum control over hole deviation.

2. Concave Face

A versatile bit face perfect for medium-hard, homogeneous rock formations. Offers excellent hole deviation control and efficient flushing capability.

3. Convex Face

Optimized for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rocks at low to medium air pressures. Provides the highest resistance to steel wash, reduces gauge button wear, but has limited hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Ideal for drilling in hard to very hard, abrasive rock formations with high air pressures. Ensures high penetration rates and excellent resistance to steel wash.
