Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissured rock formations, operating under low to medium air pressures. Provides excellent hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

This versatile bit face is designed for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations, offering good hole deviation control and effective flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Perfect for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rocks with low to medium air pressures. Highly resistant to steel wash, reducing the load and wear on gauge buttons, though it offers less effective hole deviation control.

4. Flat Face

Optimal for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations under high air pressures. Delivers excellent penetration rates and strong resistance to steel wash.
