Bit Face Shape Selection:

1. Drop Center Bit

Perfect for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard, fissured rocks with low to medium air pressure, ensuring maximum hole deviation control.

2. Concave Face

This versatile bit face is ideal for medium-hard, homogeneous rocks, offering excellent hole deviation control and flushing capacity.

3. Convex Face

Optimal for high penetration in soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures, resistant to steel wash, reduces gauge button load and wear, but may compromise hole deviation control.
