• Bit Face Shape Selection:




• Drop Center Bit: Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Works well with low to medium air pressures and provides maximum hole deviation control.


• Concave Face: Designed for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations. Offers good hole deviation control and excellent flushing capacity.


• Convex Face: Suitable for soft to medium-hard rock formations with low to medium air pressures. Provides resistance to steel wash and reduces load and wear on the gauge buttons. However, it may have poor hole deviation control.


• Flat Face: Perfect for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, especially in applications with high air pressures. Offers good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
