Bit Face Shape Selection:

2. Concave Face: An all-around application bit face specifically designed for medium-hard and homogeneous rock formations. Provides good hole deviation control and flushing capacity.


3. Convex Face: Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures. Offers resistance to steel wash but poor hole deviation control.


4. Flat Face: Suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations in applications with high air pressures. Provides good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
