- Drop Center Bit: Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Ideal for low to medium air pressures and offers maximum hole deviation control.
- Concave Face: Suitable for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations. Provides good hole deviation control and flushing capacity.
- Convex Face: Offers high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock formations with low to medium air pressures. Resistant to steel wash, reducing load and wear on gauge buttons. However, it has poor hole deviation control.
- Flat Face: Designed for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations with high air pressures. Provides good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
