• Bit Face Shape Selection:




• Drop Center Bit: Designed for high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and fissured rock formations. Suitable for low to medium air pressures and offers maximum hole deviation control.


• Concave Face: An all-around application bit face specifically designed for medium hard and homogeneous rock formations. Provides good hole deviation control and excellent flushing capacity.


• Convex Face: Ideal for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard rock formations with low to medium air pressures. Offers the most resistance to steel wash and reduces load and wear on the gauge buttons. However, it has poor hole deviation control.


• Flat Face: Suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations in applications with high air pressures. Provides good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
